How much is the solar rebate in Victoria?
Solar Victoria’s Solar Homes program offers eligible owner-occupiers a rebate of up to $1,400 on a new solar panel system, with an optional additional $1,400 interest-free loan. On top of that, every system earns small-scale technology certificates (STCs) — a federal incentive that comes off the price up front.
Is there a battery rebate in Victoria?
Victoria no longer offers a state battery rebate — battery support now comes from the federal Cheaper Home Batteries program, which discounts the installed cost of a home battery by around 25% (tiered by size since May 2026) and runs until 2030. It can be combined with the Victorian solar panel rebate when you install both together.
Who is eligible for the Victorian solar rebate?
Broadly: owner-occupiers with a combined household income under $150,000, a property valued under the program cap, and no solar installed in the last ten years. Eligibility rules change — we check yours as part of the quote, and handle the entire application for you.
Do I have to apply for the rebates myself?
No. Amrut Solar manages the Solar Victoria application, the STC paperwork and the federal battery discount as part of every installation. The price on your quote is the price after every incentive you qualify for.
